375g/13oz puff pastry sheet

1 egg beaten

250g/9oz plum tomatoes halved

Directions for Cooking:

1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C/400 degrees F/Gas mark 6. Unroll the ready rolled pastry and cut out 8 equal circles (10 cm/4 in) using a cutter.

2. Brush with the beaten egg and place well spaced out on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven for 10 minutes and then turn over.

3. Brush the edges with egg and then spread with the green pesto. Arrange some whole

and halved baby plum tomatoes on each pastry and scatter the crumbled Stilton over the top.

4. Return to the oven and cook for 20 minutes, until well risen and golden brown. Serve warm garnished with basil leaves.

If you like your Blue a little more mature, again, divide it in the 6oz. segments and store for a bit longer. As it matures, watch for excessive moisture, browning or runny veining. Comfort Food: Ham and Gruyere Cheese Sandwich

The most horrible thing happened to us today. Before I went to work yesterday, I managed to give my little darling, Lexie, her usual daily morning meal on her platter near the door. She would normally wag her tails while waiting as I prepare her favorite food. When we woke up today, we found her lying stiff on her bed just meters away from the stairs. I have never cried so hard in my life. Neither did anyone else in the family. But we all have to be strong. We found out that she suffered from a gastrointestinal disease. I know things will never be the same again after Lexie’s gone. The house will be a lot quieter from now on. Im not even sure if I am ready to have a new dog to replace Lexie.

Some of it is the Gruyere Classic, which is cured for six months in climate-controlled cellars while Gruyere Reserve is matured for 10 months in climate-controlled cellars. Both the classic and reserve are brushed with salt water once a week until mature. Gruyere Premier Cru, produced and matured exclusively in the canton of Fribourg, is ripened for 14 months in strictly-controlled caves with a humidity of 95% and a temperature of 13°C.
